Immigration of employees from countries outside the European Union to Austria

The Red-White-Red Card enables qualified professionals to immigrate to Austria. The RWR Card is granted using a points-based immigration system for qualified professionals from third countries and enables them and their families to quickly obtain a residence title in Austria.

The RWR Card is initially limited to 12 months. After this period, the card holder can apply for the RWR Card-Plus, which provides them with free access to the Austrian labour market.

Family members are eligible for the Red-White-Red Card Plus immediately.
